When he and Violet are being chased by Syndrome’s minions in the first movie they find out that they can combine their abilities to become even stronger. Dash is very happy with his powers and Calls himself “The Dash”. Although he fights with his Sister Violet a lot, he shows that he cares for her when he saves her from one of Syndrome’s Minions in the first movie. Dash, unlike his Sister, is not ashamed of his abilities and does not see the point in hiding them, he believes they make him special.
